ITINERARY

Day 1

We depart the local area and make our way north with a stop on route before arriving at the 4* Cedar Court Hotel, with plenty of time to settle in before dinner.

Day 2

The morning is free for you to explore delightful Harrogate. Have a relaxing lunch in one of the many restaurants, cafes and bars, enjoy some retail therapy or just sit and watch the world go by. This afternoon we make our way to RHS Harlow Carr where the gardens are decorated with light displays. See the iconic features such as Streamside, the Queen Mother's Lake, Winter Walk, Doric Columns and Kitchen Garden glow up with festive sparkle & magic.

Day 3

Today we enjoy a trip to Castle Howard, one of Britain's finest historic houses. Discover the festively decorated house at your own pace, admiring its awe-inspiring architecture, interior and world-renowned collections, with something to capture everyone's imagination.

Day 4

This morning we visit York, where you can soak up the medieval charm of Christmas. Enjoy the Christmas spirit as you wander through the St Nicholas Christmas Fair in the centre of Parliament Street before going off the beaten track to find York's hidden retail gems. The Shambles Market has a diverse selection of traders and unique crafts and along the Shambles itself are shops with souvenirs and wizarding memorabilia. We have time for lunch in York before departing to arrive home in the early evening.
