ITINERARY

Day 1

After an early departure we make our way north with stops on route, arriving at our hotel the 4* Glasgow Westerwood Hotel with time to settle in before dinner.

Day 2

After a leisurely breakfast we make our way to Edinburgh, where you have the day to explore Scotland's majestic capital, before the evening performance of the The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, which is a truly remarkable and internationally acclaimed event. This thrilling and moving experience, against the world-famous backdrop of Edinburgh Castle, will incorporate the unforgettable music of the massed pipes and drums, the massed military bands, as well as imaginative graphics, state-of-the-art lighting, singers, dancers and many other performers from around the world. The show is finally brought to an emotional and poignant close each evening, as the lone piper, high on the castle ramparts, plays a haunting lament.

Today's dinner arrangements are at own cost in Edinburgh. Please be aware that the coach will not be able to access the Royal Mile and therefore you will be required to walk up to the Castle, see notes below.

Day 3

Today we enjoy an unforgettable boat cruise on the Firth of Forth with spectacular views of the road and rail bridges. We then make our way to the Helix where we include a Kelpies Guided Tour. These magnificent equine sculptures, standing proudly at 30 meters tall, embody the power and grace of Scotland's rich heritage. Discover the intricate details, the marvellous feat of engineering and the symbolism that lies within.

Day 4

After breakfast it is farewell to Scotland as we make our way home, arriving back early evening.
