Day 1
Departing the local area we will make suitable stops on route arriving at The Headland Hotel, a highly rated 3* hotel situated above Torquay, with views out across the sea and private gardens.

A free day to spend in Torquay at your leisure.
|Day 3
This morning, we enjoy a scenic drive along the coast to Powderham Castle, the family home of the Earl of Devon. Explore the castle and grounds, in the unique picturesque setting within an ancient deer park beside the Exe estuary.
|Day 4
Today we make our way to Plymouth, with time at leisure to discover this naval city, why not take a harbour cruise or visit the Mayflower Museum, Plymouth Gin Distillery, Hoe Park, or the National Marine Aquarium.
|Day 5
Today we visit the tranquil haven of Buckfast Abbey. The Abbey is a working monastery where the monks live self-sufficiently creating goods for sale, producing their own electricity, engaging in various forms of pastoral work and welcoming visitors from around the world. This afternoon we take a ride on the steam-hauled South Devon Railway along the valley of the river Dart through some of Devon's most beautiful countryside.

This morning, we head to Brixham, with time to explore the small fishing village before returning to Torquay for an afternoon at leisure.

After breakfast we commence our journey home with suitable stops on route, arriving back late afternoon/early evening.
