Enjoy a weekend break at the 3* Babbacombe Hotel. Day 1
Departing the local area, we will make suitable stops on route before arriving at The 3* Babbacombe Hotel with time to settle in before dinner. The Babbacombe Hotel enjoys a level position directly on the sea front overlooking the famous Babbacombe Downs with far reaching beautiful views across Lyme Bay.Enjoy mince pies and a welcome tea/coffee on arrival. There will be evening entertainment at the hotel over the weekend.
|Day 2
This morning we visit the seaside town of Teignmouth with its Georgian high street. The town beach is a long expanse of sand with a pier, arcades and promenade, whereas the river beach is full of beautiful fishing boats and has a wonderful quaint village feel. We return to the hotel for the afternoon at leisure. Why not walk along the cliff front and visit the Babbacombe Model Village, the Bygones Museum, take a ride on the Babbacombe Cliff Railway for a stroll along the beach or visit Kents Cavern. Alternatively, it is a 12-minute bus ride into Torquay. This evening, we enjoy a sherry reception followed by a traditional Christmas dinner.
|Day 3
This morning we have time to explore the fishing village of Brixham. This evening, we have a "New Year's Eve" reception with sparkling wine before dinner.
Day 4
After breakfast we commence our journey home with suitable stops on route arriving back late afternoon/early evening.
