ITINERARY

Day 1

We depart the local area and make a stop for lunch before arriving at the Cliff Hotel & Spa mid-afternoon, ready to settle in and get acquainted with all the facilities on site before dinner.

|

Day 2

Surrounded by some of the finest coastline in Europe is St Davids, the smallest cathedral city in Britain and a popular location for pilgrims and artists alike. Adjacent to its 12th century cathedral stands the magnificent ruins of the medieval Bishop's Palace. We return to the hotel for the afternoon at leisure.

|

Day 3

After a leisurely breakfast, we journey through the Teifi Valley to the National Wool Museum. The museum shares the story of the wool trade and shows the process of weaving magic - turning fleece into fabric. On our return to the hotel, we visit the lovely market town of Cardigan, with its unspoilt townscape and rich heritage.

|

Day 4

This morning, we visit the historic town of Carmarthen on market day. We then make our way to the National Botanic Garden of Wales. Visit the great glasshouse full of endangered plants from all over the world. Or explore the gardens with carpets of snowdrops and early daffodils out in bloom.

|

Day 5

Today we make our way north along the Ceredigion coast to the Victorian seaside town: Aberystwyth. There are lots of independent shops and restaurants, a mile long promenade, and the oldest pier in Wales.

|

Day 6

After breakfast, we head home with suitable refreshment stops on route.
