Day 1
Departing the local area, we make our way north with a stop on route, arriving at the 3* Foxfields Country Hotel with time to settle in before dinner.
|Day 2
This morning we journey to Leighton Hall. This is an impressive grade 2* listed building that is the family home of the famous Gillow furniture-making family who are still residents today. We enjoy a guided tour of the home that is beautifully decorated for Christmas, followed by a light lunch. We make the short journey to Barton Grande Garden Centre for free time exploring their Christmas shop.
|Day 3
Today we travel to Bury, where you can browse the famous Bury Market - voted Britain's market of the year, there are over 350 stalls to explore. This afternoon we return to the hotel via Oswaldtwistle Mills with time for some last-minute Christmas shopping.
|Day 4
Today we head to Lancashire's famous seaside resort of Blackpool. No trip to Lancashire would be complete without a visit to the Blackpool Tower Ballroom where you can enjoy live music from the Mighty Wurlitzer and enjoy an Afternoon Tea Experience. We then have free time to explore Blackpool at your leisure. On our return to the hotel, we enjoy a drive along the sea front to see the famous Blackpool illuminations.

After a leisurely breakfast we make our way south, returning home mid-afternoon.
