DETAILED OVERVIEW

ITINERARY

Day 1

We depart the local area and travel to Liverpool, with a lunch stop on route. We arrive at the waterfront located 4* Pullman Hotel with time to settle in before dinner.

Day 2

Spend the day at leisure in Liverpool. There is plenty to do with the Royal Albert Dock, the Tate Museum and the Merseyside Maritime Museum all within easy walking distance from the hotel. Why not take a cruise along the river Mersey, visit the Liverpool One shopping centre, relax at the hotel, or visit the annual Christmas Markets, a perfect mix of local food, drinks and craft traders who will be offering the very best in a wide range of delicious treats and seasonal delights.

Day 3

Enjoy a second day in Liverpool or join the coach to Manchester Christmas Markets. The world- famous Christmas Markets stretch across six city squares with lashings of food, drink & Christmas atmosphere. Highlights of the Christmas Markets include the Winter Gardens attraction in Piccadilly gardens including live music and DJ's, the Cathedral Gardens Skate Manchester Ice Rink and Manchester's Giant Santa.

Day 4

After a leisurely breakfast we depart the hotel and make our way to Birmingham where we enjoy a visit to the annual Frankfurt Christmas Markets. The largest authentic German Christmas market outside of Germany or Austria, Birmingham's Frankfurt Christmas Market offers a large range of traditional goods and gifts and a selection of tempting food and drink. Pretzels, schnitzels, bratwursts, and roasted almonds will tempt your taste buds, all of which can be washed down with gluhwein, weissbeer (wheat beer), or tasty hot chocolate. We return home late afternoon.
