ITINERARY

Day 1

We depart the local area and travel to Bath Christmas Markets for some Christmas shopping. We arrive at our hotel 4* Best Western Plus Swan Hotel, Wells in time for dinner.

Day 2

This morning spend time at leisure in Wells. Why not visit the spectacular cathedral only a short walk from our centrally located hotel.
This afternoon we visit Longleat where the Festival of Light will be in full display. 2025 Theme is British Icons with Wallce & Gromit & Friends. Meet fan-favourite characters from Shaun the Sheep, Wallace and Gromit and more while you journey to some of the UK's most famous landmarks, marvel at native wildlife and sights - all spectacularly reimagined in lantern form.
Explore London - walking under a breathtaking 15m tall Tower Bridge - travel through Stonehenge and to Shaun the Sheep's own Mossy Bottom Farm. Marvel at the spectacular Welsh dragon before heading to Blackpool and the great British seaside. Then journey to Scotland and Giant's Causeway as well as West Wallaby Street to meet Wallace and Gromit on their adventures - come along lad!
Longleat are also be marking the 250th?anniversary of Jane Austen's birth as they focus on writers, celebrating British native wildlife and landscapes, and presenting iconic singers through the decades. All this and so much more awaits on this awe-inspiring lantern experience, bigger and better than ever!

Day 3

We depart the hotel after breakfast and enjoy a visit to Winchester Christmas Market, Inspired by traditional German Christmas markets and attracting more than 400,000 visitors each year. The authentic wooden chalets are situated in the Cathedral's historic Inner Close, selling a range of tempting seasonal treats and delightful Christmas gifts. We arrive home late afternoon.
