Spend time exploring the North coast of Cornwall with time in Newquay & St Ives, explore the South coast of Cornwall with time in Looe & Polperro and visit the magnificent Lanhydrock House & Gardens (NT).

ITINERARY

Day 1

We depart the local area with stops on route for coffee and lunch before arriving at the 4* Esplanade Hotel in Newquay mid-afternoon, ready to settle in and get acquainted with the facilities at the hotel before dinner.

Day 2

Enjoy the day at leisure in Newquay, located on Cornwall's Atlantic Coast, Newquay has previously been voted as "One of the Nation's Favourite Seaside Towns." Newquay also has some of Cornwall's finest beaches.

Day 3

After a leisurely breakfast, we drive to the charming seaside resort of St Ives. Best known for its artistic connections, the Tate Gallery looks after the Barbara Hepworth Museum and sculpture garden (admission at own cost).

Day 4

Today we explore the charming south coast of Cornwall, we make our way to the picturesque fishing harbour of Looe, famous for its pretty harbour front and white sandy beaches. This afternoon we visit Polperro where it's easy to step back in time in what is a largely unspoilt fishing village, its beautiful cottages cling to steep hillsides around a small harbour with spectacular views of land and sea making it an artist's paradise.

Day 5

This morning we visit the magnificent late Victorian Lanhydrock House & Gardens (NT). Discover two sides of Victorian life: from the kitchen which offers a thrilling glimpse into life 'below stairs', to the luxurious family areas, elegant dining room and spacious bedrooms which reveal the comforts of 'upstairs' living. Make sure you take a stroll around the extensive gardens and enjoy their year-round colour.

Day 6

After breakfast we will start the journey home, with breaks on route for coffee and lunch, arriving back in the local area early evening.
