Join Paul Higgs & his Storyville Steamers Dixieland Jazz Band for a joyous afternoon of song and dance with added Christmas flavour. A great band with a wonderful vocalist capture that Dixieland vibe and the sounds of New Orleans, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald and Jelly Roll Morton. Wear your dancing shoes. Dixieland is a style of jazz, originating in New Orleans, played by a small group of instruments, as trumpet, trombone, clarinet, piano, and drums, and marked by strongly accented four-four rhythm and vigorous, quasi-improvisational solos and ensembles. The event includes a two course Christmas lunch with a hot drink. The Tereza Joanne is a banqueting and party venue moored in London’s Royal Docks. With level access and everything you want on one floor, there are great views across the water to the City Skyline.
