DETAILED OVERVIEW
ITINERARY
Day 1
Departing the local area, we make our way north to York arriving at the 3* Raddison Hotel in the centre of York early afternoon. Overlooking the meandering River Ouse, Radisson Hotel York is conveniently located close to the city's main attractions. Feel at home in one of the modern rooms with thoughtful amenities and stunning views overlooking the nearby river and York Minster cathedral. We include dinner at the hotel this evening.
|Day 2
Step out the hotels front door and enjoy the day at leisure in York. A city where ancient walls surround incredible local businesses, attractions, shops, and eateries. There are thirty world-class museums including the National Railway Museum, York Minster, York Castle Museum, York Dungeon & the JORVIK Viking Centre. Take a cruise along the River Ouse or enjoy some retail therapy and explore the famous York Shambles. As you are in the centre of York with many restaurants on your doorstep, we do not include dinner this evening.
|Day 3
After a leisurely breakfast we enjoy a final morning in York before departing the hotel and making our way south, with a comfort stop on route, arriving home late-afternoon.
