DETAILED OVERVIEW
ITINERARY
Day 1
Departing the local area, we make a leisurely journey to our overnight stay in Scotland, the 3* Holiday Inn Dumfries.
|Day 2
After a leisurely breakfast we make our way to Cairnryan where we board the ferry to Belfast. We arrive at the 4* La Mon Hotel & Country Club in time for dinner. Nestled in the picturesque countryside of County Down, the four-star luxury accommodation, Country Club, pampering at Odessi Health & Beauty, and La Mon Hair Studio, combine to make relaxing effortless, as it should be.
|Day 3
After breakfast we drive through the Irish countryside, arriving at the Giant's Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its unique volcanic stone pillars and shrouded in folklore and fairy tales. Flanked by the wild North Atlantic Ocean and a landscape of dramatic cliffs, for centuries the Giant's Causeway has inspired artists, stirred scientific debate and captured the imagination of all who see it.
|Day 4
After breakfast we are joined by a step-on guide for a tour of Belfast. Marvel at its Victorian architecture such as Queen's University, the Palm House at the Botanic Garden and the baroque beauty of the City Hall. This afternoon we visit the Titanic Belfast Museum where we explore the shipyard, walk the decks, travel to the depths of the ocean and uncover the true legend of Titanic in the city where it all began.
|Day 5
There's a treat in store today with a rare visit to the King's official residence in Northern Ireland, Hillsborough Castle. After a guided tour of this elegant mansion and gardens, including the majestic throne room. This afternoon we visit Ulster Transport Museum, home to one of the most comprehensive transport collections in Europe, including locomotives, horse-drawn carriages, vintage motorbikes, cars and more.
|Day 6
Following an early start, we board the return sailing to Cairnryan with breakfast provided on the ferry, returning you home in the evening.
