Located in the heart of the historic city, Middletons is a luxury York city centre hotel that offers the perfect opportunity for a city break, awarded Visit York Large Hotel of The Year 2023, it is a collection of the city's past, present, and future, with buildings such as the famous Sir Joseph Terry cottages, Chaplin House and Lady Cromwell House tracing back to famous York figures. Sleep surrounded by history, with a pretty courtyard in the centre of the hotel. Every room is uniquely converted, and each one with homely touches such as fresh milk for a cup of tea and chunky biscuits for nibbling.

Day 1

Departing the local area, we make our way north arriving at the 4* Middletons Hotel, early afternoon with time to explore this historic city before dinner.

Day 2

Step out the hotels front door and enjoy the day at leisure in York. A city where ancient walls surround incredible local businesses, attractions, shops, and eateries. There are thirty world-class museums including the National Railway Museum, York Minster, York Castle Museum, York Dungeon & the JORVIK Viking Centre. Take a cruise along the River Ouse or enjoy some retail therapy and explore the famous York Shambles.

Day 3

After a leisurely breakfast we depart the hotel and make our way south, with a comfort stop in Stamford, before arriving home mid-afternoon.
