Day 1
We depart the local area with stops on route for coffee and lunch before arriving at Rosemundy House Hotel mid-afternoon, ready to settle in and get acquainted with the facilities at the hotel before dinner.
|Day 2
Today we drive to the charming seaside resort of St Ives. Best known for its artistic connections, the Tate Gallery looks after the Barbara Hepworth Museum and sculpture garden (admission at own cost).
|Day 3
Enjoy the morning at leisure at the hotel. In the afternoon we visit Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm. Travel back in time and unlock the secrets of traditional cyder-making and see where the famous Rattler Cyder is bottled, packaged, and kegged. Healey's is also famous for making England's oldest whiskey and you can tip-toe through the sleeping barrels hidden in the cellars.
|Day 4
Today we visit The Eden Project. Enjoy the extensive Outdoor Gardens, explore one of the world's largest indoor rainforests and immerse yourself in the calm fragrance of the Mediterranean Biome. Eden never fails to provide anything less than a jaw-dropping horticultural extravaganza.
|Day 5
Today we travel to Padstow where we explore the town which has become synonymous with Rick Stein. The harbour is the bustling centre of the town and further along the front there is the National Lobster Hatchery, which was set up to conserve the local lobster population and preserve marine biodiversity.
|Day 6
After breakfast we will start the journey home, with breaks on route for coffee and lunch, arriving back in the local area early evening.
