|Day 1
We make a leisurely journey to our overnight hotel in north Wales, the 3* Royal Victoria in Llanberis.
|Day 2
Following an early start, we make the short journey to Holyhead for the morning sailing to Dublin. Our journey takes us through the central plains of Ireland to Ennistymon, arriving at the 4* Falls Hotel & Spa in time for dinner.
|Day 3
After breakfast we travel to the Burren Visitor Centre. We can learn about the history and identity of the Burren and familiarise ourselves with our surroundings. Our next destination today is the small fishing village of Kinvara. Known as 'The head of the sea', here we enjoy views of Galway Bay and have the opportunity to walk along the coast or visit one of the quaint pubs or restaurants. This afternoon we visit Hazel Mountain Chocolate and enjoy a tour and tasting session. The chocolate experts will take you through the process of 'bean to bar', giving you the opportunity to taste the product at different stages while learning the history of the factory.
|Day 4
This morning, we journey to the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre, where the story of the famous cliffs is brought to life by interactive immersive exhibitions. After lunch we journey to Doolin for a leisurely 45-minute cruise to see the famous Cliffs of Moher from the water. At 214 metres at their highest, the cliffs offer stunning scenery. Highlights of the cruise include sea birds such as Puffins, O'Briens Tower at the highest point and the famous sea cave that featured in Harry Potter.
|Day 5
This morning, we head into Limerick, with time to explore the city. Located on the River Shannon, Limerick offers something for everyone, from the Milk Market to Saint Mary's Cathedral, to the Treaty City Brewery. This afternoon we visit Bunratty Castle & Folk Park. The 15th century castle is one of Irelands most historic sites on the West Coast. Originally a Viking trading camp, it is now a representation of how those such as lords and ladies lived back in the day.
|Day 6
After a leisurely breakfast we depart the Falls Hotel and make our way east across Ireland to our final overnight stay at the 3* Hamlet Court Hotel in Kildare.
|Day 7
Following an early start, we travel to Dublin for the return sailing to Holyhead, returning you home in the early evening.
