Day 1

We depart the local area and make our way to Leeds Castle, home to six of England's medieval queens and a preferred residence of Henry VIII. There are over 900 years of glamorous history, lavish parties, and strong women. Don't expect forts and military, you will experience heritage created by those who were visionary. We make the short journey to the 4* Ashford International Hotel, with time to settle in before dinner.

Day 2

Today we are joined by a fantastic guide for a guided coach tour through the scenic "garden of England." We journey through Romney Marsh and learn about the infamous smuggling history. We have time at leisure for lunch in Tenterden, before making our way to Chapel Down Winery for a tutored tasting and vineyard tour.

Day 3

This morning, we make our way to Canterbury and explore all the wonderful history this city has to offer. To start the day, we enjoy a guided walking tour of the city. Followed by free time, you could visit the remarkable Cathedral, or the Roman Museum. We return to the hotel for the afternoon, to make the most of the hotel's fantastic facilities.
