Day 1
With an early departure we make our way to Dover for the ferry to Calais, continuing through France to our overnight hotel. (Tonight's dinner is a set menu).
|Day 2
Departing our overnight hotel, we continue our journey through France to our hotel for the next 5 nights: the 4* Saint Gervais Hotel & Spa, at the foot of Mont-Blanc and in the heart of the spa village of Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc. Founded on a historic mansion dating from the early 20th century, the hotel elegantly highlights the owner's passion: Ottoman culture. Enjoy the hotels indoor and outdoor pool and all the rooms feature unobstructed views and balconies.
|Day 3
After a leisurely breakfast we visit the chic resort of Chamonix to explore its central boutiques and cafes. If you would like you can take a journey on the Aiguille du Midi cable car for the best views of Mont Blanc or the Montenvers rack and pinion railway to view the imposing Mer de Glace glacier (at own cost).
|Day 4
Enjoy a highlight today as we travel to Annecy, known as the 'Venice of the Alps', the beautiful lakeside town features charming canals and narrow streets to explore. On Tuesday the streets are lined with a bustling market. We include a 1-hour circular cruise on Lake Annecy followed by free time for lunch in one of the many waterside restaurants.
|Day 5
We travel to magnificent Lake Geneva today and the lakeside village of Yvoire. This charming medieval village has hardly changed over the centuries, with beautifully decorated houses and gardens, and lots of shops and cafes to explore. We include a circular cruise on Lake Geneva from Yvoire's pretty port. We return to the hotel with a scenic drive through the majestic Alps.
|Day 6
Enjoy a day at leisure today. Relax in the mountain air with views of the Domes de Miage and Mont Joly mountains or wander into the nearby town centre for some local shopping at the weekly market. You may also want to take the Ascenseur des Thermes lift, situated just below the hotel to the wonderful Mont Blanc Thermal Spa where you can spend a few hours enjoying the thermal waters and treatments available (subject to opening times).

We say our farewells to the Alps and head north through France to our overnight hotel. (Tonight's dinner is a set menu).

Departing our overnight hotel, we make our way through France to Calais where we catch the ferry back to Dover, returning home early evening.
