Bodelwyddan (pronounced bod-el-with-an), is a Grade II listed Victorian building near the North Wales coast, not far from Snowdonia. ITINERARY
Day 1
We depart the local area and make a stop for lunch before arriving at Bodelwyddan mid-afternoon, ready to settle in and get acquainted with all the facilities on site. A full programme of entertainment every evening is included.
|Day 2
This morning, we travel over the Menai Strait to the Isle of Anglesey, we relax on a leisurely 80-minute return boat cruise to Puffin Island followed by time at leisure for lunch in Beaumaris with its medieval castle, lovely beach, and Victorian pier.
|Day 3
Today we depart for a scenic tour of Snowdonia. Picturesque Snowdonia is the largest national park in Wales and home to the tallest mountain in Wales. We visit picturesque Betws-Y-Coed and journey along Llanberis Lake.
|Day 4
After a leisurely breakfast we make our way to the Victorian seaside town of Llandudno. Llandudno's appearance is down to the fact that, unlike most other resorts, it has remained largely unchanged for over a century. There's a pier (the longest in Wales) and canopied shopping streets just behind the prom.
Day 5
We depart Bodelwyddan after a leisurely breakfast and return home with a lunch stop on route, arriving back late afternoon.
