Day 1
We depart the local area and make a stop for lunch before arriving at Holme Lacy mid-afternoon, ready to settle in and get acquainted with all the facilities on site. A full programme of entertainment every evening is included.
|Day 2
After a leisurely breakfast we make our way to Ledbury. Stroll the historic streets, cobbled lanes and tiny alleys to find fantastic boutiques and heritage highlights, from the distinctive Market House to the 16th century Painted Room. Literary luminaries, including Elizabeth Barrett Browning and John Masefield, were enamoured with this town.
|Day 3
Today we visit Hampton Gardens, a truly enchanting place, where families and garden enthusiasts have been making memories for generations. Victorian walled gardens, stunning water features, a 1,000 yew tree maze, hidden waterfall pathways and vibrant borders are all awaiting your discovery.
|Day 4
This morning, we head north to the antiques mecca: Leominster. A wealth of antique shops has brought TV stardom to Leominster (pronounced 'Lemster'), but this historic market town remains charmingly down-to-earth. Independent shops and cafes are dotted amongst the medieval, Tudor and Georgian buildings, whilst the beautifully carved Grange Court is a must-see.
|Day 5
We depart Holme Lacy after a leisurely breakfast and return home with a lunch stop on route, arriving back late afternoon.
