Nidd Hall is set in 45 acres with award winning gardens. You can cast a rod on the fishing lake or, from some of the rooms, cast your eyes over the spectacular Yorkshire countryside.

ITINERARY

Day 1

We depart the local area and make a stop for lunch before arriving at Nidd Hall mid-afternoon, ready to settle in and get acquainted with all the facilities on site. A full programme of entertainment every evening is included.

|

Day 2

This morning we will be visiting the nearby RHS Harlow Carr Gardens. Sitting in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, Harlow Carr offers a variety of growing landscapes, from running and still water, to woodland and wildflower meadows. Highlights include the lavish Main Borders, bursting with generous prairie-style planting, and the lush, moisture-loving plants around Streamside.

|

Day 3

Today we visit the Saltaire world heritage site. Saltaire Village is named after Sir Titus Salt who built a textile mill, known as Salts Mill, on the River Aire and he built the ideal village for his workers. Designed by architects, Lockwood and Mawson, Saltaire has beautiful Italianate architecture and a rich history.

|

Day 4

After a leisurely breakfast we make our way to the Victorian Spa Town of Harrogate. Visit the stunning Victorian Royal Baths, a grade II listed building home to the internationally famous Turkish Baths and Spa, or enjoy a slower pace of exploration as you browse the delightful cobbled Montpellier Quarter housing art galleries, antique and vintage shops, jewellers, boutiques, restaurants, cafes and bars.
