Take in the beautiful State Rooms Walk around the Castle, and marvel at the opulent State Rooms. From the Ballroom to the State Dining Room, feel like royalty as you journey through beautifully designed rooms with Regency-style décor that transports you to a different era. Explore the Formal Gardens and woodlands With over 16,000 acres to discover, you are guaranteed to appreciate the beauty of the gardens. Walk through the Japanese Woodland and the Duchess Garden. A set of landscaping plans were drawn up in 1780 by Capability Brown, and they were discovered in the Castle archives in 2013. These plans have now been completed, and thanks to the current Duchess of Rutland, you can enjoy the picturesque landscape that Capability Brown planned for Belvoir Castle.
