DETAILED OVERVIEW
ITINERARY
Day 1
Departing the local area, we make our way south with a lunch stop on route, arriving at the 3* Langstone Cliff Hotel with time to settle in before dinner. The hotel is set within 19 acres of woodland and has magnificent sea views overlooking the Exe Estuary.
|Day 2
Today we make our way along the scenic south coast to Torquay, with its iconic palm trees, busy harbour, international marina, sandy beach, and wonderful array of continental style cafes, restaurants, and cocktail bars.
|Day 3
Enjoy a day at leisure making use of all the hotel's leisure facilities, take a stroll down to the beach, or visit Dawlish Warren with its traditional seaside amusements.
|Day 4
After a leisurely breakfast we enjoy a visit to Powderham Castle, the family home of the Earl of Devon. Enjoying a unique picturesque setting within an ancient deer park beside the Exe estuary. This afternoon we visit the Cathedral city of Exeter.
|Day 5
After breakfast we commence our journey home with suitable stops on route, arriving back late afternoon/early evening.
