ITINERARY

Day 1

We depart the local area and, with a lunch stop on route, arrive at the 4* Tynedale Hotel in time for dinner. The hotel is centrally located on Llandudno's iconic Victorian promenade, just 20 metres from the beach and a short walk from the high street and the town's well-preserved pier.

|

Day 2

This morning we visit Bodnant Gardens (NT), a stunning 80-acre garden with grand terraces and views of Snowdonia, full of interesting, beautiful plants from all over the world. This afternoon we enjoy a visit to Conwy, its well-preserved ancient walls, the most intact in Europe, enclose a town of narrow cobbled streets, nooks and crannies chock-full of historic buildings.

|

Day 3

Enjoy the day at leisure in Llandudno, unlike most seaside resorts, it has remained largely unchanged for over a century. Stroll along the elegant promenade, with its pastel-coloured hotels and Victorian architecture, or walk along the longest pier in Wales. Why not enjoy a ride to the top of the Great Orme on the beautifully restored tram which climbs to 1500m. The views from the summit are breathtaking - from Snowdonia and Anglesey, all the way to the Isle of Man, Blackpool and the Lake District.

|

Day 4

Today we enjoy a scenic tour of picturesque Snowdonia, the largest national park in Wales and home to the tallest mountain in the UK.

|

Day 5

After breakfast we return home with a lunch stop on route, arriving back late afternoon.
