A special place that remembers those who have served, and continue to serve, our nation in many different ways. Set in 150 acres of grounds, the Arboretum is filled with interesting and unusual features. The National Memorial Arboretum was conceived as a living tribute to the war time generations of the twentieth century and as a gift to their memory for future generations to reflect upon and enjoy.Please Note: Apart from the warmth and comfort of the Visitor Centre, the National Memorial Arboretum is an outdoor site, so it is advisable to check that you are appropriately dressed. Please wear stout walking shoes, there is a lot of walking on paths and grass. There is a landtrain available to take visitors on a tour of the site with commentary. Payable individually on the day. Guidebooks and maps are available to purchase at the visitor centre to make the most of your visit.
