Day 2

This morning we visit Sewerby Hall. Uniquely situated in a dramatic clifftop position with spectacular views over Bridlington and set in 50 acres of early 19th Century parkland, Sewerby Hall and Gardens offer something for everyone, from the magnificent gardens and zoo to the deep-rooted heritage of the house. This afternoon we visit the seaside town of Scarborough.

Day 3

This morning we make our way to Pickering where we board the North York Moors Railway. The one-way journey takes in the awe-inspiring North York Moors National Park passing through historic stations including Goathland Station used in both Harry Potter & Heartbeat. This afternoon we have time to explore the seaside town of Whitby. From the atmospheric Abbey towering over winding cobbled streets to the windswept beach and working harbour, Whitby is not your traditional coastal town. Try some award-winning fish and chips, follow the footsteps of Bram Stoker's Dracula and English explorer Captain James Cook or discover the history of the famous Whitby Jet.

Day 4

This morning we enjoy a visit to the Eden Camp Modern History Museum where you will be transported back to experience the sights, sounds and smells of wartime Britain, all within the grounds of an original POW Camp. This afternoon we visit the Ryedale Folk Museum, nestled within the beautiful North York Moors National Park. There are over 40,000 historical objects in over 40 historical buildings. Don't miss the medieval Manor House, Iron-Age Roundhouse, 1950's village store, Victorian cottage or the Tudor thatched longhouse.
